I prefer high tops.

I just Googled “shoes.” No idea what I actually wore. If it was anything like today, it was whatever I could find that fit, which was hard in a pre Amazon.com world.

High tops

Yeah, I don’t think I wore those. Way too trendy. I’m sure the ones I posted make you look worse.

Eh? Trendy? Every single male at my high school was wearing the newest Adidas, Jordans, NIKE, whatever was new and over $100. Those shoes cost me $30 and 4 solid years through all weather. And when I retired them, they looked 20 years older than they were; a “vintage look” if you ask me.
I’d call that a win for the budget shoe consumer.

It was a good one....Until I broke it.

Breaking a European car in the US is not cheap..

Breaking a transmission isn’t cheap. Had to get a used one for $2500 instead of a new one for $5000. Automatic things.

Those were totally in, when I was in school in the 90s.

I was in high school 2 years ago. That would explain the difference.

Just think Saved by the Bell, and add a couple years.
